Saul Ruiz is a commentator of Church History, focused on the overlooked development of the Messianic-Jewish & Torah-Observant Christian faith established by Christ and his Jewish Apostles across time. He is currently a student at the University of Cambridge's IOCS, where he is pursuing a diploma in Orthodox Christian studies.
Saul is the founder and voice behind Saul’s Ecclesiastical History, a project devoted to making church history emotionally resonant, historically accurate, and spiritually impactful for modern audiences. His work draws from a wide range of traditions and historical moments, deep explorations of theology, persecution, and perseverance throughout the centuries.

Saul is a husband, father of 3 children, and serves as a teacher under a plurality of elders at Tree of Life Tabernacle Church in Yorkville, IL. He juggles all of this while working a 9-5 but dreams of one day focusing solely on Saul's Ecclesiastical History full time!
He also holds multiple academic credentials including:
For the best understanding of Saul's theology, please take the time to read his first published blog post, “The Dead End of Human Nature: Why I Lost Faith In My Free Will and Became Desperate for Grace,”
